Geven’s history begins many decades ago when the Veneruso family started the industrialization of customized upholstery in the automotive sector.

 
 

From there the family expanded the business to trains and marine seating, arriving as a logical consequence to the aviation transport sector where the leap to more stringent requirements was successfully carried out.

At the end of the 90’s, the first orders for aircraft seats confirmed the confidence in the quality of products and services that Geven had already acquired.

The aircraft passenger seating business begins with retrofit exercises of existing aircraft, a mandatory stepping-stone towards entry into the catalogues of airframe manufacturer approved vendors.

In the 2000’s the continued engagement and ability to meet commitments lead to increased growth and in 2006 Geven relocates into a more modern 16.000 square meter m covered industrial plant, 20 km from Naples in Italy.

In 2020 Geven begins completion of an additional new 10.000 square meter production site annex to the main facility.

We are today one of the major world players in the aeronautical sector and our goal is to become an innovator investing in capacity and capabilities.
